ALTR Risk Scanner integrates with Snowflake Trust Center, empowering joint customers with the insights needed to manage data security
SAN FRANCISCO — June 3, 2025 — ALTR today announced at Snowflake’s annual user conference, Snowflake Summit 2025, the launch of ALTR Risk Scanner as a Snowflake Native App. ALTR Risk Scanner integrates with the Snowflake Trust Center and enables customers to proactively identify and assess their data security risk by detecting unprotected sensitive data, specifically personally identifiable information (PII), in their Snowflake environment.
ALTR Risk Scanner provides security and compliance teams with instant visibility into which Snowflake columns may contain PII and lack masking policies, and which data entities have not been recently evaluated by Snowflake’s column classification engine. By pinpointing these blind spots, the app helps customers prevent costly exposures before they escalate.
